I told you I liked blue....

On the last post I comment about blue being my favorite color.  I just as well share with you my Baskets of Plenty by Red Crinoline Quilts that was just hung at the shop.  When I got this pattern in I just knew that it would be perfect using blues and browns.

I used the browns for the baskets and star centers.

And blues were all the half square triangles and cornerstones.

I used a cream floral print from the Mills Girls collection for the background. 

 I think it makes the quilt look vintage.  Many of the blues and browns are from the Strawberries, Blueberries and Chocolate.  I think the baskets in the corners of the border really showcases all the work in the basket.

 I put the same fabric on the back as I used for the background.  And bound it with the same fabric as the border.

I will try not to make the next quilt that I post about blue.
